Memorial Day Weekend!!!!

My first Memorial Day Weekend was a blast!! First off mommy and daddy's best buds, Dave and Callie, from Atlanta flew in for a visit.. plus they brought Izzy with them!!... And I think she's the bees nees!! Then mommy and daddy had a pig roast which brought out Kaiser/Manthey/Green clans!!! They are all so much fun!!! I really don't need to say too much for these pictures show you how much fun we all had!!

Growing and Teething like a Mad Man!!!

Just a month ago, Dr. Stein told me some awesome news!! I was 2o inches and weighed 30 pounds.. I am in the 95th percentile for my height and weight!! We called my Mame and she was astounded!! So she checked my daddy's baby book and I have him by a 1/2 inch at 6 months!!! Dr. Stein also told me that I was very advanced because I got my two front teeth at 4 months and now I have 3 upper teeth already!! Needless to say, I am in pain, chewing on anything I can get my hands on and drooling like a mad man!!!.... still I love to laugh and play with my toys.. or my bib.. which ever I can grab ;)

Guys Night!!

This past Friday night my mommy went to a neighborhood party - mom's, margaritas, and massages... (she didn't come home until midnight!!).. so I hung out with daddy and Uncle Jon.. we had a great time!! They chowed down of chops while I drank my dinner!! (of formula!!) Guys night aren't what they used to be!! but we still had a great time!!

Mother's Day!

I wanted to let everyone know that my "men" (I use the term loosely!)... treated me to a wonderful first Mother's Day... We went to Mame's house on Saturday.. and John and Uncle Joshua cooked a great meal... steaks, smashed potatoes, green beans and for dessert cravel ice cream cake!!! (Jakey and Uncle Toby gave moral support!!!).. On Sunday John cooked burgers on the grill and enjoyed an early evening of wine and more cravel cake!!! All in all I had a wonderful first Mother's Day!! (plus I got a great set of golf clubs!!)

Gettin' what I want!!!

I know I have lots and lots of toys to play with... but one of my favorite things to play with, chew on and just go crazy with is my daddy's sunglasses... so when my daddy tries to take it away from me when I wasn't ready to give them up.. I GET REALLY REALLY MAD!!! And my mommy and daddy are suckers because I've figured out how to get what I want when I want it!!!

Meal time with Jakey has now become an event!! Now that he is eating more solid foods (like carrots, sweet potatoes, etc) the messier the meal time has become!! The picture explains how our little boy loves to eat!!.. but the video tells a more funniert tory!! All I have to say "like father like son"
